INFJ/INTJ??

Thinking/feeling? I'm close - 47/53 on this one - strategist or defender... this is really making me think... any input?

Defender:

ISFJs are traditional, loyal, quiet and kind. They are very sensitive to other people's needs because they are very observant. They have rich inner thoughts and emotions. They value stability and cultural norms. They are very adept at giving attention to detail. They do not seek positions of authority.

Strategist:

INTJs are introspective, analytical, determined persons with natural leadership ability. Being reserved, they prefer to stay in the background while leading. Strategic, knowledgeable and adaptable, INTJs are talented in bringing ideas from conception to reality. They expect perfection from themselves as well as others and are comfortable with the leadership of another so long as they are competent. INTJs can also be described as decisive, open-minded, self-confident, attentive, theoretical and pragmatic.

I'm also very close on the judging/perceiving too...

I am an INFJ/INTJ person too. It depends what mood I'm in or what sort of a week I've had as to which side I fall on the T/F when I do the test.

oh i like that Tim - i think it probably has something to do with 'taking care of my introvert' :) and if i'm getting refilled.

great thoughts - thank you!

I am totally an INFJ. pretty much close to perfection -- and have been for as long as i've been taking this test!

ack- i wasn't done, i hit return.

i have seen both sides of you. i wonder if you default to 'defender' at times because you -are- neglecting your self-care or refill .... kind of like, let me take care of others, at least...

thank you renee, that helps to know that others see it - because it's a new result for me. this test was much more intuitive and left brain than many others i've taken.

and i think i'm being more honest and in touch with the real me when i answer too... :p

yes, the care-taker kicks in when i'm not doing self care or i'm spread too thin. i'm not sure i like the word 'strategist' as it seems kind of manipulative - i'm trying to find a parallel word that is a bit more life giving to me - do you have any?? :)

i just went to thesaurus.com and found these - something to think about:

architect, author, beginner, benefactor, builder, constructor, designer, establisher, father, forefather, framer, generator, initiator, instituter, inventor, maker, organizer, originator, patriarch, patron, planner, prime mover*, sire, strategist

I like those (minus the "male" ones) much better that "strategist", thanks for making me think through this!
